Fall Detection
On the Go can detect falls and automatically call for help to the Lifeline Response Center. If your button has detected a fall, Lifeline will assess your profile and situation, and based on your needs, an associate will call a neighbour, family member or emergency services.
GPS Tracking
On the Go utilizes GPS to help the response center determine your location when activated.
Whether day or night, the Lifeline response center is ready to provide you with the assistance you need.
24/7 Medical Response
When On the Go is activated, utilize 2-way communication with the Lifeline response center to determine what assistance is needed.
2-Way Communication
1. Coverage inside and outside the home provided where third-party cellular network coverage is available and subject to device location, environment, equipment, and facility conditions. The signal range may vary. Lifeline may not always be able to determine your location.
2. Fall detection technology does not detect 100% of falls. If able, the user should always push their button.
3. Recharging of the On the Go Mobile pendant is done by the subscriber as needed by connecting it to its charger. Refer to the User Guide.
4. The On the Go pendant is water resistant and can be worn in the shower but should not be submerged in water.
5. Caution: To reduce any risk of strangulation, Lifeline neck cords are designed to break apart under certain conditions. However, any cord worn around the neck can pose a strangulation risk, including the possibility of death and serious injuries. This may be of more concern to wearers in wheelchairs, using walkers, using beds with guardrails, or who might encounter other protruding objects upon which the cord can become tangled.
